As per the order of the Finance Department, the outstanding amount from July 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024 will be paid in three equal installments in July, August and September 2024 respectively.
MP DA Arrears 2024: There is good news for lakhs of government employees of Madhya Pradesh. The first installment of the increased dearness allowance arrears will be released to the employees in August. For this, the Commissioner of Treasury and Accounts has started the process. Under this, arrears of 1240 to 16000 will be given in the account of the employees. In this way, on getting arrears of three months, the employees will get a benefit of Rs 1860 to 24,000. This will benefit 7.50 lakh employees.
The first installment of increased DA arrears will come in August
Actually, the Mohan Yadav government of the state had increased the DA of the employees by 4% from July 1, 2023 in March 2024 before the Lok Sabha elections, after which the DA increased from 42% to 46 percent. Since DA was implemented from July 2023, it was decided to pay the outstanding arrears of 8 months in three equal installments. As per the order of the Finance Department, the outstanding amount from July 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024 will be paid in three equal installments in July, August and September 2024 respectively.
Up to Rs 16000 will come in the account
On July 23, 2024, the state government orders directed to complete the formalities for this, citing compliance with the Finance Letter of March 14, 2024. In such a situation, it is expected that the first installment of arrears will be paid into the accounts of the employees before Rakshabandhan in August. After this, two installments will be given in the next two months. Finance department officials say that preparations are underway to pay the arrears amount, eight months’ arrears will be paid in three installments. In this, from fourth to first class employees, Rs 1300 to 15-16 thousand will come in each installment in their accounts.
