CG Employees DA Hike 2025: There is good news for the government employees of Chhattisgarh. The Vishnudev Sai government of the state has given a big gift to its employees before Holi. The state government has increased the dearness allowance of the employees by 3 percent, after which the DA has increased from 50 to 53 percent. The new rates will be applicable from March 2025.
In fact, on Tuesday, the Chhattisgarh government presented a budget of Rs 1.65 lakh crore, in which Finance Minister OP Choudhary has announced to increase the dearness allowance of the state employees by 3 percent, after which the DA has become 53 percent. The salary of the month of March, which will be payable in April, will be given with the increased dearness allowance. More than 3 lakh employees of the state will get the benefit of this.
Dearness allowance was increased in October
It is worth noting that earlier, the Vishnudev Sai government of Chhattisgarh had increased the dearness allowance of the state employees by 4 percent in October before Diwali, after which DA was increased from 46% to 50%. The new rates were implemented from 01 October 2024. Now once again DA has been increased by 3 percent, the new rates of which will be applicable from March 2025. Now the DA of the state employees has reached the same level as the Center, although the Central Government is preparing to increase DA again from January 2025 in March, in such a situation, there may be a difference of 2 to 3 percent in the DA of state employees and the Center again.
