Haryana DA Hike: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced to increase the dearness allowance (DA) of state government employees by four percent. Khattar said that the Center has increased the DA for government employees from 42 percent to 46 percent. Keeping this decision in mind, the Haryana government has also decided to increase DA by four percent before Diwali.
You will get increased DA from July
The Chief Minister said that the state government employees will get increased DA from July 1, 2023. About 3.5 lakh employees in Haryana will benefit from this decision. Khattar was addressing the media here on the occasion of completion of nine years of his government. During this, he mentioned the welfare steps taken by his government.
How much has pension increased in 9 years?
Referring to the achievements of his government, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that compared to October 2014, the annual income limit of BPL has been increased from Rs 1,20,000 to Rs 1.80 lakh in October 2023. Apart from this, social security pension has also been increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 2750 per month.

Center increased DA before Diwali
Just before the festival of Diwali, the Central Government has given a big gift to more than 48 lakh central employees and about 65 lakh pensioners. Last week, the cabinet meeting has approved increasing the dearness allowance (DA Hike Central Government Employees) to 46 percent for central employees. It has been implemented from 1 July 2023.
Employees and pensioners will now be paid new rates of dearness allowance. The new rates will be given along with the October salary. This will also include the money of July, August and September. Dearness allowance has been increased for the second half of the year. With a jump of 4 percent, dearness allowance has increased from 42 percent to 46 percent.
