Dearness allowance is decided on the basis of AICPI index

DA has crossed 55 percent even before November. The figures for two months of last year are yet to be added. It is being said that new figures of dearness allowance may be released in the month of March. Which can be made effective only from January 1, 2025.

Dearness Allowance is being given 53 percent DA from July 1, 2024. By giving dearness allowance, employees are given relief from inflation. So that the spending income of the employees increases and the employee can face the dearness allowance. By increasing the dearness allowance, the pension of the employees also increases. However, doing so affects the government treasury.
