DA Hike: There is very good news for the government employees of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan (CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan) while giving relief to the government employees of the state (Madhya Pradesh Employees) has announced that Dearness Allowance will be increased by four percent.
Seven and a half lakh employees of the state will be benefited by this. CM Chouhan said this on Friday while addressing Chief Minister Kanya Vivah / Nikah ceremony in Gillaur village of Bhairunda tehsil of Sehore district. Difference in DA of central and state employees
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that at present there is a difference of four percent in the dearness allowance of central and state government employees, which will be abolished. At present, government employees were being given dearness allowance at the rate of 38 percent under the seventh pay scale from January 1, 2023. After this announcement of CM Chouhan, the dearness allowance will be 42 percent.
There will be so much burden on the government
After the 4 percent increase in dearness allowance, the state government will have an additional burden of one thousand crore rupees annually. At the same time, the CM has also given assurance regarding the solution to the problems of employment assistants. However, the CM did not mention when he would get the benefit of this hike.

Employees’ organizations in the state were demanding an increase in dearness allowance from the state government for a long time. According to the information received, the Finance Department can give an increased 4 percent dearness allowance from July 2023. This decision of the government will benefit seven and a half lakh employees of the state.
