4 percent increase in dearness allowance

In fact, the dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent to the regular officers and employees working in power companies under the seventh pay scale. Orders have also been issued for this. From January 1, 2023, they will be paid an increased 4 percent additional dearness allowance. His DA has increased to a total of 42%. Due to this, an additional expenditure burden of more than 1.5 crore will be seen on the state government.
It may be known that till now the benefit of 38 per cent dearness allowance was being provided to the regular employees by the power company. Along with the same 4 percent increase, it has to be paid to the employees from the month of January. Along with getting the benefit of total 42% dearness allowance, the dearness allowances of the employees have also increased to be at par with central employees. Along with this, they will be paid arrears of 6 months.
Payment of arrears in three equal installments
Earlier, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced increase in dearness allowance for the employees of the state. Orders have also been issued for this. According to the order issued, it will be paid to the employees from January 2023. Also, the arrears of 6 months have to be paid in three equal installments in the months of October, November and December.
Allowance will increase for central employees
On the other hand, the central government may once again announce an increase in the dearness allowance of its employees for the half year of July. It is believed that in view of the festive season, orders for increase in dearness allowance will be issued in the end of September or in the first week of October. The same benefit will be given to the employees from July. In such a situation, the employees of the state are also sure to get the benefit of one more increase in dearness allowance by the end of this year.
