Announcement of seventh pay scale

Along with this, dearness allowance will be increased. The Panchayat and Rural Development Department has issued orders to give the seventh pay scale from August on Monday following the decision of the cabinet. Employees will get the benefit of this from the month of September. The amount in his account will increase from the month of September.

21110 panchayat secretaries of the state will be given the benefit of seventh pay scale from August. Including dearness allowance, the maximum salary that the secretaries are getting at present is Rs 34632. There will be a significant increase in this. At the same time, this amount will increase to Rs 41814. However, with the announcement of new pay scales and increase in dearness allowance for thousands of panchayat secretaries, the government will see an additional financial burden of Rs 180 crore per year.

Tell that there are 23012 panchayats in the state and 21110 panchayat secretaries are working. The seventh pay scale was being demanded by the Panchayat Secretary for a long time. On August 11, the Chief Minister had announced for this. However, three categories have been prescribed in the seventh pay scale.
Salary will increase so much
In the first category, 102 panchayat secretaries will come. Those who will get monthly salary of Rs 10000 as before, while other 743 panchayat secretaries will be provided with dearness allowance including Rs 33120 as salary. An increase of more than 13 thousand rupees will be seen in their salary. Presently his salary is Rs.19313. And the monthly salary of 20270 panchayat secretaries will increase from Rs 34632 to Rs 41814.
