The Uttarakhand government has given its approval to increase Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4% for state government employees and pensioners. According to a government statement, this decision will benefit more than 3 lakh government employees and pensioners. Till now the employees of Uttarakhand government are getting 38% dearness allowance. But after 4% hike, now his DA has increased to 42%.
Uttarakhand government increased DA
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given approval to increase the dearness allowance in the interest of state employees and pensioners. Now the big question is how much the DA of the employees will increase. An employee getting a basic salary of Rs 18,000 will get a dearness allowance of Rs 90,720 annually.
Now get this much allowance
At present, employees with a basic salary of Rs 18,000 get a monthly dearness allowance of Rs 6,840 at the rate of 38%. After the hike, the employees will get Rs 7,560 per month. If the basic salary of the employee is Rs 18,000 per month, then 18000 x 42/100 = Rs 7560 will be given as dearness allowance.
CM Dhami on Sunday said that the BJP will win all the five Lok Sabha seats in the state in the next year’s general elections.
