Himachal Pradesh DA News: After the announcement of Dearness Allowance (DA) by the Central Government, one after the other state governments are also increasing the dearness allowance of state employees and pensioners. Himachal Pradesh has also announced 6 percent additional dearness allowance for its 4 lakh employees and pensioners. 450 crore benefit to employees, pensioners
With this decision of Himachal government, the government employees and pensioners of the state will get financial benefit of Rs 450 crore. DA installment will be released to government employees and pensioners from July 1, 2021. Due to the freezing of installments in the Kovid epidemic, dearness allowance is due from 1 January 2020 to 1 July 2021.Also Read: Attention! Freedom Fighters pensioners also increased DA
Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs has announced to increase Dearness Relief for pensioners apart from government service. Central government has announced
The central government had decided this month to increase the DA of freeze employees for about 18 months. The cabinet approved to increase dearness allowance to central employees and dearness relief to pensioners to 28 percent with effect from July 1, 2021. In view of the situation arising due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, three additional installments of Dearness Allowance (DA) given to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) given to pensioners were frozen.
