Flight started under RCS scheme launched under RCS scheme
The civil aviation sector of Uttar Pradesh is ready to touch new heights with the commencement of flight from the newly constructed Bareilly Airport. Under the important regional connectivity scheme (RCS) of the central government, Alliance Air between Bareilly and Delhi will start flight service on every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 March. The airline will also start two flights from Prayagraj connecting RC and Delhi from March 1 under RCS.
There are also many industrialists in the region, who look for flights to reach business centers like Delhi and Mumbai. Sources said that the demand for these facilities was long overdue, but neither the district administration nor the previous state governments had noticed.
Air connectivity is being provided under the RCS scheme, so the state government will provide many types of help to the airline. These include funding, free power up to 4,000 units, waiving VAT on aviation turbine fuel (ATF) for 10 years and services such as security and fire service. The state government will also provide road connectivity, bus services and ambulance services.
