A high voltage drama was seen in Geeta Colony area of Delhi. Along with the people of such area, the police also got caught in the breath. Actually it happened that a girl’s boyfriend refused to marry. After that, the girl made preparations to climb on top of her boyfriend’s flat building.
According to Delhi Police, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, through a PCR call, Geeta Colony Police Station got information that a girl has climbed on the roof of the building and is threatening to commit suicide by jumping from there. When the police reached the spot, it was seen that the girl was wearing a red suit and climbed on the roof and people standing below were calling for her to get off.
The police, who reached the spot, also got information that the girl was in a state of intoxication. Realizing the seriousness of the matter, the SHO who reached the spot also talked to the girl through loudspeaker and started trying to persuade her. The SHOs were constantly explaining to the girl that she should move away from the height of the building to a safe place.
Meanwhile, fire brigade vehicles were also called on the spot so that even if the girl jumps from the building, she can be saved by laying a net below. The police were constantly asking the girl through loudspeaker to go back but the girl was not ready to go back.
Still the police kept talking to the girl constantly, every effort was made to keep her entangled. After this, a woman named Leena was also sent to the roof and she stood at some distance and started talking to the girl. During the conversation, Leena nabbed the girl and then the police team also reached the spot and took the girl to a safe place.
The girl was rescued and taken directly to Hedgewar Hospital in Delhi, the girl said in the inquiry her name was Sameera Khan aka Reena. The girl is a resident of Jagatpuri, Delhi. Sameera’s parents live in Saudi Arabia. At the same time, Sameera became friends with Mayank living in Geeta Colony. She wanted to marry Mayank but the boy refused to marry. It was only after that refusal that the ruckus began and the girl tried to jump from the building.
