You will have to pay toll only for the distance you travel or drive on this expressway. Apart from this, the 18 km area from Akshardham to Loni in Delhi will be completely toll free. This means that you will not have to pay any toll tax for this distance. Money will also be saved in the form of fuel. If your vehicle gives a mileage of even 20 km per liter, then you will reach Dehradun in 10 liters of oil. This means less than Rs 1,000 expenditure. In this way, you will save fuel worth Rs 500 to Rs 700 in going one way.

  • If someone falls ill on the expressway, you can call the helpline number 8577051000 and 7237999911 and get free ambulance facility within 10 minutes.
  • If there is any problem on the way, you can call the helpline number 1033 or 108 and get immediate facility, which will be completely free.
  • If the vehicle runs out of fuel on the expressway, you can call the helpline number 1033 or 8577051000 or 7237999944 and get up to 10 liters of fuel. For this, you will have to pay only for the fuel, there will be no extra charge.
  • If there is any problem in the vehicle, call the helpline number 8577051000, 7237999955 and the mechanic will reach immediately. You will not have to pay for the mechanic’s visit, you will only have to pay for the repair of any fault in the vehicle. If the mechanic is unable to repair it, the vehicle will be towed to the garage.

There will be 110 underpasses on the expressway

There will be a total of 110 underpasses on the 210 km route of Delhi-Dehradun Expressway. Apart from this, you will have to cross 5 railway overbridges and 4 big bridges. You will find 16 exit and entry points on the entire route, which means that this expressway will make way to reach many cities other than Dehradun. Not only this, you will also have to cross Asia’s longest elevated wildlife corridor of 12 km built above the world famous Rajaji National Park, which will pass through the 300 meter long Datakali tunnel.
