Delhi government: The letter said that students and their parents should be made aware of this provision.

New Delhi. The Delhi government has instructed all schools in the national capital to make their parents aware of the legal consequences of minor students driving vehicles. Schools have also been asked to ensure that no minor student is allowed to drive any vehicle to come to school and go home from there.




Principals of schools are being paid attention to motor vehicles

The Directorate of Education (DOE) has said in a letter to the principals of the school, “The incidence of crime committed by teenagers driving vehicles is increasing. In this context, attention is being paid to the parents of all (students) and principals of schools in section 199A (1 and 2) and 199B of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 …. ”

Make students and their parents aware of this provision

The letter states that according to the law, if a juvenile commits a crime, then the owner of the motor vehicle will be held guilty and action will be taken to punish him accordingly.

The letter said that students and their parents should be made aware of this provision. It has been said that to spread awareness about this, the help of school management committee members can also be taken.
