Delhi Metro: Big News! Change in timing of Delhi Metro on Diwali, know- when will you get the last train?

Diwali 2023: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has said that the last metro train service on Diwali will start at 10:00 pm on 12 November 2023 from the terminal stations of all lines including the Airport Express Line.

Delhi News: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has changed the timing of Metro on the day of Diwali. DMRC has said that on Diwali, on Sunday, metro train services will start from 06:00 am on all lines/sections and from 4:45 am on Airport Express Line. The last metro train service will start at 10:00 pm on November 12 from the terminal stations of all lines including the Airport Express Line.

This means that on the day of Diwali, the last train on all metro lines will be available at 10 pm instead of 11 pm. In such a situation, metro train will not be available at any terminal station even at 10.05. Therefore, all the passengers should leave at 10 o’clock in the night to catch the metro train. Apart from this, metro train services on all lines will start from 6 am and on Airport Express Line from 4:45 am.



Metro is making 60 extra trips

It is noteworthy that these days the level of air pollution has increased significantly in Delhi. Regarding this, GRAP has been implemented in Delhi-NCR. In such a situation, passengers do not face any kind of inconvenience and more and more people travel using the metro, for this a total of 60 additional trips of the metro are being made from Friday.

Anuj Dayal, Principal Executive Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, had said that after the restrictions of Group 2, 40 additional trips of the Metro are being made on all working days from October 25, in which 20 more trips have been increased from Friday. Metro will make a total of 60 additional trips every day on all lines, so that more and more people prefer traveling by metro train and the pollution of Delhi can be reduced.
