How many extra trips will the metro make?
DMRC has decided to increase the trips only for the festival of Raksha Bandhan. This means that today i.e. on the day of Rakshabandhan, the frequency of Delhi Metro has increased. Delhi Metro will make 106 additional trips as compared to normal days, so that the traveling passengers do not face any problem.
DMRC had made complete preparations before taking this decision. DMRC said, “Some metro trains will be kept ready as backup and those trains will also be operated if needed. Often more passengers travel in the metro on the day of Raksha Bandhan.
Will the number of employees also increase?
DMRC has also had to increase the number of employees to increase the frequency of Delhi Metro. During Rakshabandhan, the number of people traveling by Delhi Metro often increases. For this reason DMRC has taken this decision. Because of this, the number of ticket counters and employees at metro stations has also been increased. At the same time, security guards have also been increased at major metro stations, so that there is no lapse regarding security.

The Delhi Metro has recently created a new record. In fact, a record has been made for the maximum number of passengers traveling in a single day. On August 28, 68 lakh 16 thousand 252 people traveled in Delhi Metro.
