Delhi Metro services were disrupted on Thursday. According to DMRC, the metro was running late on three lines – Violet, Green and Pink lines. However, after 1.5 hours the fault was rectified and the situation returned to normal. DMRC has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.

Even though the metro services were soon restored, but on the occasion of Holi festival, people had to face a lot of trouble due to the failure of service on three lines simultaneously.
Man jumped in front of metro
Earlier today at 8.40 am in front of RK Ashram metro, a person suddenly jumped in front of the metro. But the driver applied the emergency brakes on time. Because of this, the person’s life was saved. According to the police, it is still being investigated whether the person had fallen or deliberately jumped in front of the metro.
