Now metro passengers can pay their parking charges in different ways. Be it Fastag, e-wallet, debit or credit card and now also National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). This means that the card with which you can travel in the metro, can also pay the parking fee.
Smart Parking Scheme: Towards New Initiatives
Taking forward the smart parking scheme, Delhi Metro management has floated a tender for giving parking on contract at many stations. This includes stations like Rohini Sector-18, 19, Jamia, Majlis Park etc. In this tender, a condition has been laid for making smart parking, so that the passengers can get more facilities.
Current Payment Facilities
At present, at some stations, passengers can pay through cash, e-wallet and smart card of the metro. But under the new initiative, they will get more options and making payments will be even more seamless.
Thus, Delhi Metro has taken new initiatives keeping in mind the convenience of its passengers, making it easier for them to pay parking charges.
