New Delhi: There is important news for the passengers traveling by metro in the national capital Delhi. The timings of Delhi Metro train services have been changed for Sunday. Metro trains will run from 4 am on Sunday (December 4).
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has given information in this regard. Actually, on December 4, the voting process for 250 wards of Municipal Corporation in Delhi is to be completed. Due to this, DMRC has made this change in the timing of metro services.
Trains will run at an interval of 30 minutes till 6 am
According to DMRC, on December 04, 2022 (Sunday), the day of Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections, train services of Delhi Metro on all lines will start at 4 am from all terminal stations. Trains will run at an interval of 30 minutes on all lines till 6 am on Sunday. At the same time, after 6 am, metro trains will run as per the normal timetable throughout the day.

Number of passengers of Delhi Metro crossed 50 lakhs daily
There is good news for DMRC that after the corona virus infection is over to a large extent, Delhi-NCR’s lifeline Delhi Metro is getting crowded like before. Because of this, for the first time after Corona, the average number of passengers (footfall) traveling daily in the metro has crossed 50 lakhs. This is helping the Metro to gradually recover from the losses.
