Delhi Metro Timing on 15th August 2024: Delhi Metro will start its services from 4 am on the 78th anniversary of the country. DMRC has given this information by issuing a press release today. Metro said that these services will start from all terminal stations.

New Delhi: On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day of the country, Delhi Metro is making special preparations for the passengers. Delhi Metro services will start from 4 am on this day. Metro trains will start running from all terminal stations from 4 am. Metro facility will be available at an interval of every 15 minutes till 6 am on this day. After this, trains will run as per the normal time table. Delhi Metro has given this information in a press release issued today. Passengers who have a pass from the Ministry of Defense to participate in the Independence Day celebrations will be allowed entry and travel after seeing the valid government identity card. Such passengers will be allowed to exit from Lal Qila, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk stations.

This invitation letter will be valid for return journey also and such passengers will be able to board the metro from these three stations. The Defence Ministry will reimburse the travel expenses of such passengers to DMRC.

It is worth mentioning that in view of the Independence Day program in the capital, tight security arrangements have been made. Extreme caution is being taken at every metro station. Passengers have to go through at least two layers of security check. A few days ago, an IS terrorist was caught in Delhi. In such a situation, the security agencies do not want to make any mistake.

On 15 August, the country is celebrating its 78th Independence Day. PM Narendra Modi will address the country for the 11th consecutive time from the Red Fort on this day. There will be tight security at every step during the PM’s speech. Dignitaries participate in this program.
