New Delhi. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued an advisory for metro passengers. Due to the construction work of the Magenta Line, the metro will run on a single line. However, this situation will remain between some stations. Also, the timing of the metro running on a single line has also come to light.

According to DMRC, the movement of trains between Samaypur Badli and Jahangirpuri on the Yellow Line will be on a single line only. It will start from today. The metro will run on a single line only from 10 pm till the end of the metro service. At the same time, the metro will run from the beginning to 7 am in the morning. After that, from 7 am to 10 am, the movement of metro on the entire Yellow Line will remain normal.

However, DMRC has not given information about how long the metro will run on a single line. People have been appealed to plan their travel according to the advisory.

Unlimited travel for Rs 200

Keeping tourists in Delhi in mind, DMRC has taken an important step. Now you can travel unlimited in Delhi Metro. You can get this tourist card (Delhi Metro Tourist Card) made from any Delhi Metro station. After getting this card, you can travel unlimited in the metro. Whenever you check out at any station from the metro, you will not have to pay a separate token or amount in the card. Please note that this card comes with a validity of one day or three days.

How much does a ‘tourist card’ cost?

You get two validity options in a tourist card (Tourist Smart Card). If you get a card with a validity of one day, you will have to pay Rs 150. At the same time, you will have to pay Rs 500 for a card with a validity of three days. In this, Rs 50 is taken for a refundable security deposit.
