Delhi News: It will be easier for the passengers traveling by Delhi Metro to travel from today. New feeder buses are being started for passengers from today (August 12, 2021). At present, 25 buses are being launched on 2 routes as a trial. All feeder buses are electric and equipped with special facilities. These will have a panic button, GPS, along with CCTV cameras. Travel can be done only with smart card
Audio Visual Passenger Information System has been installed to inform the passengers about the journey. With this, the passengers will be able to get information about their journey, where they have reached now and it will also know which stop is going to come next. Apart from this, passengers will be able to use Metro Smart Card or Metro DTC Smart Card only in these buses. Actually, there will be no facility to make cash payment in this. At present, the minimum fare has been kept at Rs 10 and the maximum fare is Rs 25. It has an anti-skid, anti-brake locking system. Special sensors have been used in the doors. Also, until all the doors are closed, the buses will not run. Ramps and anchors have also been installed in the buses for wheelchairs so that the differently-abled and elderly passengers do not face any difficulty in traveling.
