Delhi Weather Today: According to the India Meteorological Department, the maximum day temperature on Sunday is likely to be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature will be around five degrees Celsius. Minimum temperature likely to be 5 degrees.

Delhi News: After severe cold and fog in the national capital Delhi in the month of January, now there are signs of change in the weather. Although, there is not much relief in the morning temperature, but due to sunshine and favorable weather on Saturday, people have got relief from the melting cold. According to IMD, partly cloudy sky is expected in Delhi on Sunday. There may be drizzle at some places. The minimum temperature is likely to be five degrees.

According to the India Meteorological Department, mist or light fog was seen on Sunday morning. The maximum temperature of the day is likely to be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be around five degrees Celsius. IMD has predicted clear sky during the day. Whereas the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Ghaziabad Gautam Buddha Nagar located in Delhi NCR.

Signs of increase in day temperature

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain clear in the coming days due to sunshine during the day. Now there is a possibility of gradual increase in day temperature. By January 30, the maximum day temperature can reach 26 degrees. According to Delhi Standard Observatory Safdarjung, the maximum temperature recorded during the last 24 hours was 24 degrees, which is two degrees more than normal. Whereas the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.3 degrees which was four degrees less than normal.

55 trains reached Delhi at the rate of 7 hours

On the other hand, due to dense fog on Saturday morning, rail and air traffic was badly affected. On Saturday, 55 trains reaching Delhi reached different stations of the capital with a delay of one to seven hours. A large number of air flights are also reported to be affected by the fog.

AQI level serious

According to the data of the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality in the national capital still remains very poor. At 9 am the overall air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 402, which falls in the severe category. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.
