Delhi Weekend Lockdown: Weekend curfew has been imposed in the country’s capital Delhi after the fast growing cases of Corona. The decision has been taken after the meeting of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on the situation in Corona. After the meeting, Kejriwal said in a virtual medium press conference that the situation in Corona in Delhi is very serious. For this reason, we have decided to impose weekend curfew. It is known that during the weekend curfew (Delhi Weekend Curfew), everything except the essential services will be banned in Delhi.




Kejriwal made it clear that during the weekend curfew there will be no ban on essential services. Travelers can travel by showing their tickets. Curfew passes will also be allotted. Only 30% of the audience attendance in the cinema hall will be approved. Eating will be prohibited in the restaurant, home delivery of food will be done. Apart from this, it has been decided to keep malls, spas and gyms in the capital closed till further orders. Kejriwal said that cinema halls can be operated with 30 percent capacity. At the same time, weekend markets will be opened in the zone.

Let us know that the weekend curfew will start from 10 pm on Friday night and it will remain in force till 6 am on Monday morning.

It is known that every day in Delhi, Corona is breaking its old record. In view of the fast growing cases of Corona, the Kejriwal government has imposed many restrictions besides the night curfew.

On the other hand, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, a record 2,00,739 new cases of corona were reported in the country and 1,038 people died during this period. In India, the number of corona infections has now reached 1,40,74,564, while 1,73,123 people have died so far. There are 14,71,877 active cases in the country, while 1,24,29,564 people have been cured after treatment.
