Delhi Traffic Jam: Heavy traffic jam was seen on many roads in Delhi on Tuesday. Due to this, a large number of vehicles were stranded on the roads. People troubled by the jam expressed their anger on social media. Long queues were also seen at metro stations.

Due to the rehearsal of the Republic Day parade, heavy traffic jams were seen on many roads in central Delhi on Tuesday. Due to this, a large number of vehicles were seen stranded on the roads. Some users on social media said that they are late for office. There is so much traffic jam on the roads of Delhi that now they do not want to go to work.

Traffic jams on these roads

Roads leading to Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg near ITO, main roads of Ring Road, roads between Ashram and IP Estate flyovers, Man Singh Road, Rafi Marg, Janpath Road, Shahjahan Road, Akbar Road, Ashoka Road and other roads around Kartavya Path were badly affected by the traffic jam.

Users vented their anger

Posting a picture of heavy traffic jam near Kartavya Path, a user wrote on X- Is it useless to ask Delhi Traffic Police for traffic management? The whole of central Delhi is at a standstill due to the jam. Another user posted on X- I don’t feel like going out for work. There is a huge traffic jam in Delhi.

Blamed the traffic police

Drivers accused the traffic personnel of not controlling the traffic properly. They said that proper information about the route diversion was not given to the traffic. Another posted an online map and wrote- All the roads leading to central Delhi are jammed. People have to wait on the road for more than an hour to reach their destination.

People were stuck for more than two hours

Rajat Kumar goes to office by his car every day. He said- Usually I leave early in the morning to reach the office on time. But today the situation was completely different. I was stuck in the jam for more than two hours. I had to inform my superiors that I would be arriving late to work.
