DGCA gave instructions to all airlines
Due to late flights, passengers often have to stay hungry. In view of this, DGCA instructed all airlines that if there is a delay of up to 2 hours, passengers will be given drinking water in the airlines. At the same time, if there is a delay of 2 to 4 hours, passengers will be given tea, coffee and breakfast. Apart from this, if the flight is delayed for more than 4 hours, food will also be provided to the passengers. The information about this decision of DGCA was given by the Union Civil Aviation Ministry by posting it on X on Friday.
In pursuance to Para 3.8.1(a) of CAR Section 3, Series M Part IV issued by DGCA, Airlines have been advised to provide facilities to passengers during flight delays. These measures are designed to prioritize passenger convenience during unforeseen disruptions.

Passengers can now disembark from the plane on late flights
