Cricket has a deep impact on Indian fans. The wives of cricketers also get the same stardom as the cricketers themselves. The wives of players are also often seen in the field. Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s wife Sakshi is also no less than a star for cricket fans.

He has been seen continuously cheering Chennai Super Kings during the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the field. Sakshi has spoken openly about her stardom. He spoke on the YouTube channel of Chennai Super Kings.

He also talked about how different from normal life he has to adapt her life according to the game. Sakshi said, ‘We are proud because where he (Dhoni) is from her hard work and he is chosen from among crores of people. He is a part of the game that people like a lot in India.

She said, ‘In normal life, when you get married and your husband goes to office, then normal life changes, but our husbands go out to play so I think you just have to change yourself accordingly. You don’t have to be a stressor for them at that time.

Sakshi also spoke openly about her personal life. Sakshi said, ‘You do not have your personal space, as long as you are in front of the camera.’

He further said, ‘Some people are comfortable in front of the camera and some people are uncomfortable. The public also judges you especially when you are the wife of one of the cricketers, even if you are spending your time with your friends.

During the IPL, her daughter Ziva Dhoni is also seen with him to support Chennai Super Kings. Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi were married on 4 July 2010 in Uttarakhand.
