Post offices in Digital India are also being constantly updated. Netbanking facility has started in post offices on the lines of banking. With this facility, customers will get a lot of convenience in keeping an eye on the account sitting at home.

Netbanking facility in post office too

People with bank accounts are fully aware of Internet banking, but now this facility has started getting available to post office account holders as well. Now customers can use Indian Postal Internet Banking without any hassle. You can do the transaction of money through the netbanking of the post office, along with it all the work related to RD, PF, NSC scheme can be dealt from home.

Post Office NetBanking Procedure

1- Visit the Department of Posts website  www.indiapost.gov.in

2- Go to the option given on the left side and click on the option of online banking

3- After that click on OK to open the new window on the browser

4- Login using your User ID and Password

5- If NetBanking User ID is not created then click on New User Activation option given below in the window

6- Enter Customer ID and Account ID and proceed

7- Your Some more information related to the account will be asked.

8- After entering the information, you will be asked to create a password. – After creating the

password, the Net Banking user ID and password will be activated, after that you can log in.

Rules for the use of NetBanking

There are certain conditions for using the post office internet banking facility. According to the information given on the post office website, documents related to KYC, having a valid single or joint account are required. Apart from this, the mobile number, email ID and PAN number should be registered with the account. Only the person who fulfills all these conditions will be able to use his account.
