Digital Life Certificate: Good news for pensioners, life certificate can be made at home, understand the plan of the postal department

Digital Life Certificate: This facility will be provided through postmen and rural postal workers in collaboration with the Postal Department and India Post Payments Bank. Digital Life Certificate: Postal Department will provide the facility of making digital life certificate to all the pensioners of Bihar sitting at home. This facility will be available through the Postal Department and India Post Payments Bank. For this, the Postal Department has signed an agreement with the Pension and Pensioner Welfare Department. All pensioners, especially those living in rural areas, will get the facility to easily submit and receive life certificate.

According to the information, this facility will be provided through postmen and rural postal workers in collaboration with the Postal Department and India Post Payments Bank. Doorstep service will be started by setting up camps in the cities and towns of the state from November 1 to 30. Various stakeholders including pension welfare associations, UIDAI etc. will be involved in this campaign. Camps will be held in eight hundred cities and towns from November 1 to 24.

No need to provide any government documents to get the certificate

Pensioners will not have to provide any government documents. This service will be based on Aadhaar biometric authentication. Fingerprints and face authentication of all pensioners will be done at their homes. Pensioners will be able to get life certificate through doorstep digital life certificate service from India Post Payments Bank or at the nearest post office for just Rs 70.
