The deadline for submitting the life certificate is 30 November. Employees can submit life certificates from 1 November. Pensioners of 80 years or more will have to submit their life certificates from 1 October to 30 November.
What is a life certificate?
Jeevan Pramaan Patra, which is known as Life Certificate. Biometric technology is used in this. Also, it includes Aadhaar verification process. It contains the Aadhaar number and biometric details of the person. This certificate is valid under the IT Act. By submitting this certificate, the pensioner can prove that he is alive. If you do not submit the certificate, your pension for December and beyond may be stopped.
How to submit Jeevan Pramaan certificate online?
- Pensioners can safely register their identity such as face, fingerprint, iris biometric technology with the help of Jeevan Pramaan and Aadhaar Face RD app.
- For this, the phone should have at least 5MP camera sensor with internet connectivity. Your Aadhaar should be updated in pension authorities like banks and post offices.
- After this, you have to download AadhFaceRD and Jeevan Pramaan Face App from Google Play Store. Then you have to complete operator authentication. And verify your face.
- After this, the pensioner has to enter the necessary information.
- Then click a photo from the front camera and submit all the information.
- After this, a link will be sent to your registered mobile number, by clicking on which the Jeevan Pramaan certificate can be downloaded.
- Aadhaar number and VID information will be required for Aadhaar certificate, which will be given to the digital life certificate.
- Indian Post Payment Bank Gramin Dak Sevak and Postman can help you in filling biometric details with the help of Postinfo App, but for this you will have to pay a charge of Rs 70.
- To avail this facility from home, you will have to call on the toll free number and also pay a charge of Rs 75.
- Apart from this, pensioners can get Jeevan Pramaan portal made from their nearest Common Service Center.
