Direct flight service: In the summer schedule, 16 flights have started operating from Darbhanga Airport every day. As per the scheduled schedule, 16 flights operated from the airport on Tuesday as well.
Currently, six flights are operating between Darbhanga and Delhi, two between Darbhanga and Kolkata, two between Darbhanga and Bengaluru, four between Darbhanga and Hyderabad and two between Darbhanga and Mumbai.
Apart from this, Indigo flight between Mumbai and Darbhanga is operating four days a week on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
According to the information, SpiceJet flight SG 766 to Hyderabad which was cancelled on Monday despite being scheduled, landed at Darbhanga airport on Tuesday 15 minutes before the scheduled time of 2:55. SpiceJet flight SG 950 coming from Mumbai to Darbhanga reached 26 minutes before the scheduled time of 10:05.
- SpiceJet flight SG 751 coming from Delhi to Darbhanga reached 22 minutes before the scheduled time of 11:10.
- Indigo flight 6E7234 coming from Kolkata to Darbhanga reached three minutes before the scheduled time of 12:20.
- SpiceJet flight SG 327 coming from Bengaluru to Darbhanga reached 34 minutes before the scheduled time of 1:55.
- Indigo flight 6E7234 coming from Hyderabad to Darbhanga reached at 2:15.
- SpiceJet flight SG 766 coming from Hyderabad to Darbhanga reached 15 minutes before the scheduled time of 2:55.
- SpiceJet flight SG 495 coming from Delhi to Darbhanga reached 23 minutes before the scheduled time of 3:30.
- Indigo flight 6E360 from Delhi to Darbhanga reached at 3:47, seven minutes late from the scheduled time of 3:40.

Let us tell you that Darbhanga Airport started on 8 November 2020 under the Udan scheme. Since then, only one Indigo plane was operating on the Darbhanga Hyderabad air route every day. From Tuesday, a SpiceJet plane has started its service on this air route.
Earlier, the flight service was derailed from 29 January. After the change in weather from the month of February, all flights started returning to the track again. After this, the number of planes from Darbhanga Airport is continuously increasing.
There is a wave of happiness among the people of entire Mithila region including Darbhanga and even the neighbouring country Nepal who travel from here due to the increasing number of flights on various air routes except Kolkata.
Bela passenger Shambhunath Jha said that if there is proper management of resources, maximum revenue will be generated from here and passengers will also get convenience.
