Now you will not have to visit the RTO office for learning DL. You can apply for learning license and many other facilities online, for which you will have to pay only Rs. 30 as fee at these centers.
DL making rules Change: Now, all the online services of UP Transport Department can be availed from more than 1.5 lakh public convenience centers of the state. For online application of learning license and many other facilities, only 30 rupees fee will have to be paid at these centers. Till now, cyber cafe operators and brokers were charging arbitrary amount for online application. With this new initiative of Yogi government, people will not have to visit RTO office. This claim was made by Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh on Thursday. The minister said that API (Application Programming Interface) of CSC Digital Seva Portal and SBI-MOPS (Payment Gateway) have been linked to CSC Wallet.
This will be the fee
Transport Commissioner Brajesh Narayan Singh said that the fee has been fixed for availing the services of the Transport Department at Jan Suvidha Kendras. People will have to pay only Rs 30 per service to the CSC operator on successful transaction of any facility. Apart from this, a separate fee will have to be paid for scanning, uploading, printing and photocopying of documents. A fee of Rs 2 per page has been fixed for scanning/uploading, Rs 3 per page for printing and Rs 2 per page for photocopying. Along with this, a separate fee will also have to be paid for getting the facility you want made.
These facilities will be available at public facilities centers
Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh said that this new system will free people from corruption. The faceless services provided by the Transport Department (learning license, change of address, change of name, change of photo and signature, issue of duplicate license, duplicate DL etc.) can be done through CSC without going to the RTO office.
