How to apply online

  • First of all you have to visit the website https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/.
  • After this you have to select your state.
  • After this New Driving Licence has to be selected from the Driving Licence menu.
  • Then you have to enter the number of your learning driving license. Also, you have to enter the date of birth.
  • After this you have to fill the application form.
  • Then click on the Next button.
  • After this you have to visit the RTO, where you have to give the original document and fee slip.
  • After this you can get a driving license by giving a test at a private driving training center.

Heavy fine will be imposed

A fine of Rs 2000 will have to be paid for driving a vehicle without a driving license. Also, if a minor is found driving a vehicle, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 25,000. Also, action will be taken against the parents. Apart from this, the registration certificate of the vehicle will be cancelled.
