Actually downloading e-Aadhaar card has been made easier now. As per the latest guidelines of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), it is no longer necessary to have a registered mobile number to download the Aadhar card. Downloading the Unique 12-Digit Identification Number is now made easy, you can download it by simply logging on to the UIDAI website (uidai.gov.in). How to download aadhar card without phone number
Log on to the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in. Then select “Order Aadhaar Reprint” under My Aadhaar option (on the home page). Enter 12-digit number or 16-digit VID number. Then enter the security code. After this select the option “My mobile number is not registered” (My mobile number is not registered). After selecting this option you will be redirected to enter an alternate mobile number which is not registered with Aadhaar number. What to do next
When you are redirected to the new page, enter the details of the alternate mobile number there. Then select “Send OTP”. Check the “Terms and Conditions” box. Click on the “Submit” option. Then enter OTP for TOTP verification. The “Preview” Aadhaar letter will be displayed on your phone/computer screen for further authentication. Pay to download e-Aadhaar. Mobile number is useful
If your mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar then you can download e-Aadhaar easily. But you should keep in mind that registering mobile number with Aadhar card is very helpful. Because it gives benefit and freedom from hassle on many services. Aadhaar users should take care not to use public computers while downloading e-Aadhaar. That is, you should not download e-Aadhaar from public computers (cyber cafes etc.). If someone does this, then definitely delete all the downloaded copies of e-Aadhaar from the system.
