To make traveling by roadways buses safe and easy, the Transport Department has prepared a scheme to give incentive amount to the drivers. For this, ‘No Accident Award’ has been started. In this, drivers will be given an incentive amount of up to Rs 10,000. If the drivers of roadways buses do not have any accident in a year, they will be given Rs 10,000 as incentive.
Azamgarh: The government is determined to reduce the increasing road accidents. Along with encouraging the drivers, awareness about traffic rules is also being spread at the administrative level. To fulfill this objective, the Transport Department is also motivating its drivers.

If the drivers of roadways buses do not have any accident in a year, they will be given Rs 10,000 as incentive. It will be reviewed by the Transport Department at the end of the year.
Inspiring drivers to travel safely
Drivers who do not cause any accidents will be selected and awarded with citation and shield apart from incentive amount. For this, monitoring will be done for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024. The department believes that incentives will motivate drivers to travel safely.
According to Manoj Kumar Vajpayee, Regional Manager of Transport Department, Azamgarh Zone, there is a plan by the Transport Department to give incentive amount to the drivers. For this, the working style of the drivers for one year will be tested. Drivers who do not cause accidents will be encouraged.
