In such a situation, you can get a driving license sitting at home. ARTO Pankaj Singh told Local 18 that there are two stages of driving license. The first stage is learning license. Second stage is permanent license. It is mandatory for any applicant to get a driving license in the first stage to get a learning license. For this, now you can apply and get a learning license sitting in any corner of the country.
Application process for learning license
To apply for a learning license, first you have to go to the website of the Transport Department. There you have to go to the license option. Then after selecting the state, you will get the option of learning license application. After opening this option, you have to apply on the basis of the number of the Aadhar card. As soon as you authenticate with Aadhar, all the information related to the Aadhar card will be automatically filled on the website. While applying, you have to select the category for which you want to get the DL such as two wheeler, four wheeler or big vehicle. While applying, you will see that category wise fees have been fixed, which have to be deposited. After depositing, your application is done successfully.
How is the learning license test done
ARTO Pankaj Singh says that after the application process is complete, you will have to take a test. You can do this through mobile or laptop. The test process is based on AI. Some common questions are asked in this test. Keep in mind that you should not look here and there while answering the question. If you look here and there and do not give a satisfactory answer, you will be failed. If you give a satisfactory answer and do not look here and there, you will be passed and you will get the learning license in no time.
How to get a permanent license
One has to apply for a permanent driving license as well. While applying, a copy of the learning license and Aadhar card are required. Then you have to book a slot for the driving test by paying the fee. On the day of the slot book, you have to go to the RTO office and give a driving test in front of the RI present there. During the test, it is seen whether you can drive the vehicle or not. If you perform well, you are considered successful and a permanent license is issued.

ARTO Pankaj Singh says that to apply for a learning driving license, first of all the applicant must have an Aadhaar card and the mobile number should be registered on that basis. Apart from this, no other document is required. At the time of applying for permanent DL, a copy of the Aadhaar card and a copy of the learning license are required.
