Driving License Rules: Purnia District Transport Officer Shankar Sharan Omi said that the District Transport Department has appealed to all the drivers to update their mobile numbers in their driving licenses as soon as possible. At the same time, he said that the driver who does not update the number in the DL will have to pay a challan if caught.

Pollution, insurance failure information, e-challan information on violation of traffic rules, getting online services related to transport services and identification of victims in case of an accident will be easy. Process to update number

  • Click on the website and select Vehicle Related Services.

  • Click on Update Mobile Number.
  • Fill in the vehicle’s registration number, chassis number, engine number and registration date.
  • After clicking on Show Details, enter the mobile and Aadhaar number and verify with OTP. The mobile number will be updated as soon as the verification is complete.

How to update mobile number in driving license

If you want to update mobile number in your new or old driving license, then first go to Sarathi.parivahan.gov.in, then click on Driving License Related Services, select the name of the state, select mobile number update, enter Aadhaar number, enter OTP, after which your number will be linked to RC and DL as soon as verification is done and you will be able to know all the government rules.

You can also update mobile number sitting at home

If the linked mobile number at the time of vehicle registration or driving license is not in use or if you want to update a new number, then you can easily update the mobile number sitting at home. You can update the mobile number in vehicle registration online at parivahan.gov.in and mobile number in driving license online at Sarathi.parivahan.gov.in.
