Work started in RTO from May 31
The work of driving license has started from May 31. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, RTO Transportnagar is first calling permanent license applicants in three shifts. First shift from 10:30 am to 12:30 am. The second shift is from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and the third shift is from 3 pm to 5 pm. Those who have already booked the slots have to complete their driving license work by going in these three shifts. Here a target has been set to make 180 driving licenses daily.
Will have to wait for learning license
Although the work of making only permanent license is going on now, those with learning license will have to wait. After June 30, the work of making a learning license will be done under the new instructions. Also, the work of renewal of license and duplicate license has not started yet. After June 15, you will be able to book slots for renewal and duplicate licenses. In such a situation, the applicants who had booked the slot earlier and got canceled will have to take the slot again, but for this they will not have to pay the fee again.
License work was closed due to Corona
Let us tell you that in view of the ever-increasing corona cases, the Transport Department had postponed the process of making driving license from April 22 to May 15, then when the cases did not stop, it was extended for another 15 days. After this, the date of online book slots till 29th May was issued to rescheduling after 16th June. After this, after the order of the Central Government, on 1 February 2020, an order was issued to increase the validity of the expiring driving license till 30 June.
Dates will be announced soon in Delhi too
Here in Delhi too, the Regional Transport Office (RTO) is closed for a month, only online application for learning license is being worked on. Due to the closure of the driving test, the process of permanent driving license has come to a standstill. But Anil Chikara, MLO of the Regional Transport Office located in Surajmal Vihar, says that those whose date has passed or is about to come, they do not need to worry. Those whose driving test date has passed, they need not panic. The new date will be informed by messaging them.
Home delivery of driving license in chhattisgarh
Here in Chhattisgarh, there will be home delivery of 22 services including driving license, registration certificate (RC) of vehicles, for this applicants do not need to make rounds of RTO. After the completion of the application process, the documents will be delivered to people’s homes through speed post in seven days. This scheme has been named as ‘Your government has reached your door, now the necessary papers have reached your door’.
