ITMS has been installed at 13 intersections and crossroads in the district through which there is a system of online challan. On an average, challans are issued daily through this.
Driving License Rules: The Transport Department is changing the process of issuing driving licenses as well as the rules of challan from June 1. Now the process of giving the driving test required to obtain the license can be completed in the Transport Office as well as in recognized private institutions. People will get relief from visiting the Divisional Transport Office to give the test for driving license.
Talking about the district, an Auto Driving Test Center (ADTC) is under construction in Atsaliya. While applications have been made for two. Apart from these, two vehicle fitness centers are also to be built, on which a decision will be taken after the end of the code of conduct. If we talk about licenses, four lakh 98 thousand 543 licenses have been made in the district, out of which 8091 are of women. 30 licenses are pending.
Minors will be fined Rs 25,000 for driving vehicles
Traffic rules will be more strict. People under the age of 18 can be fined up to Rs 25,000 for driving vehicles. The license will be cancelled for violating the rules. Along with this, a new license will not be issued for 25 years. However, action is being taken against drivers under the age of 18 by running a campaign in the district.
Traffic Inspector Balkrishna Yadav said that this will be done regularly from June 1. He said that most of the challans are due to not wearing helmets and seat belts. Strictness is also taken against those driving in the wrong direction. Five lakh 60 thousand vehicles are registered in the district.

Whereas the average number of online challans per day is 600.
