DU Admission 2024 Mop-Up Round: The final round of admission to vacant seats in DU has been started. Many seats are vacant in undergraduate courses in 18 colleges of Delhi University. Admissions will be done on these on the basis of 12th marks under the mop-up round from 16 October to 18 October 2024.
DU Admission News: Vacant seats in undergraduate courses in 18 colleges of Delhi University will be filled in another mop-up round from today. DU’s admission branch has released the details of vacant seats on its website admission.uod.ac.in. Out of 18, 10 are women’s colleges. While one is Delhi School of Journalism. Most of the seats are for science courses including Hindi Honors, Sanskrit Honors, Home Science. Reserved category seats are vacant in most colleges.
Admission in DU on 12th marks
Despite five rounds of admission in these colleges of DU, seats of many courses have not been filled. Many seats are vacant in these colleges, in which students can take admission on the basis of 12th score instead of Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Admission will be based on merit.
Admissions will be held from 16 to 18 October. Students will be able to pay the fees till 19 October. The admission branch says that there will be no admissions after this round. Students who have participated in the earlier mop-up round will not get a chance to get admission in this round.

In Aditi College, 22 seats are vacant in B.Com Honours and 28 seats in Hindi Journalism. In Bhagini Nivedita College, 41 seats are vacant in Hindi, 39 in Physics Honours and 56 in B.Com. In Bharti College, 45 seats are vacant in Hindi Honours, 64 in Sanskrit and 14 in Maths Honours. In the Institute of Home Economics, 131 seats are vacant in B.Sc Home Science and 31 seats in B.Sc Honours Home Science. In most of the colleges, seats are vacant for Science courses including Hindi Honours, Home Science, Sanskrit Honours.
