According to the company, due to the malfunction of the ignition coil of these bikes, after which it has been decided to return them. This includes bikes exported to the Philippines, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia in addition to vehicles sold in India.
On Wednesday, Royal Enfield issued a statement saying, “The company has found faults in the ignition coil of some of these models during their testing.” This may result in misfiring, reduced vehicle performance and in some cases electric short circuits. Royal Enfield says that although this problem is rare, not all motorcycles will have this defect. But considering the safety rules of the company, it has been decided to recall all the models.
