Drivers will have to take care not to violate any rules issued by the authorities. If he rides an e-scooter with a passenger, he will be fined Dh200. A fine of Dh300 will be imposed for placing a passenger on an e-scooter.
Violation of RTA’s speed limits will attract a fine of Dh100. People under the age of 12 riding e-scooters will be fined Dh200. Those accused of endangering people’s lives will be fined Dh300.
