Difference between e-ticket and i-ticket

E-tickets can be booked on the same day whereas I-tickets have to be booked two days in advance. It is easy to cancel an e-ticket. It can be canceled online only. Whereas the ticket cannot be canceled online. One has to fill a form by going to the appropriate counter at the railway station. Additionally, I-Tickets can be couriered only to addresses where courier delivery is available.
