The speed of booking will increase manifold
Many times one has to be disappointed while booking tickets on the IRCTC website. In case of heavy load on the website, people face problems especially in getting Tatkal tickets. This will ensure immediate refund after ticket cancellation.
It will be refunded to the bank account in just two hours
IRCTC has started a service called Auto Pay on its website. Passengers are getting their money refunded in just two hours. Actually, this system is working like an IPO. Money is not being deducted from the bank account until the tickets are booked. Along with this, recycling work is being done every hour. People who are cancelling their tickets or their tickets are not being booked due to some other reason, their money is being refunded in two hours. 92 percent of the tickets are being refunded in two hours. IRCTC will soon achieve the target of 100 percent. The advantage of this will be that people will not book tickets when they get waiting tickets. Auto Pay system works like a normal gateway. Money is not being deducted from the bank account, it is just being blocked for two hours.
If you don’t want a waiting ticket, money will not be deducted
IRCTC has also found a solution to the problem in which waiting tickets are being given instead of confirmed tickets, then the person booking the ticket will have the option to choose. The advantage of this will be that if you do not want, money will not be deducted from the account. Even in case of transaction failure, money will not be deducted from the bank account. It is possible that the payment will not be deducted but will be blocked and after some time it will be transferred to the bank account.
