E-Visa Service: Big news for air passenger! E-Visa service restored for citizens of this country, details here

An important meeting of the G-20 summit is to be organized today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Before this meeting, India has taken a big step towards improving Canada-India relations and has restarted the e-Visa service.

Today, for the first time after the tension in relations between Canada and India over the issue of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau are going to face each other. Both the leaders are going to attend the virtual summit of G-20. Even before this meeting, India has taken a big step by advocating improvement in relations. According to sources, the visa service for Canadian citizens which was stopped by India after the tension between the two countries, has been restarted today.

In fact, every day in Canada there are attacks on Hindu temples as well as on Indian citizens. Even after all these incidents, India did not stop visa service in Canada. But some time ago someone in Canada shot dead Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. After this incident, Khalistanis present in Canada started targeting Indian citizens as well as Indian ambassadors.

Issuance of e-Visa was also stopped

The Canadian government was also not providing adequate security to the Indian embassies. In such a situation, there was a fear that Khalistanis might target the Indian Embassy also. In view of all these concerns, India had stopped issuing visas to Canadian citizens. Even e-visas were not being issued. After this, this service has been started again.
