eBikeGo, a leading provider of electric vehicles on rent in the field of electric mobility in the Indian market, is soon going to introduce its new ‘Rugged’ electric scooter in the market.
This bike of the company will be officially launched on August 25. This is a new brand introduced by the company.
The company claims that this will be the strongest electric vehicle ever to be introduced in the Indian market. This scooter is completely designed and manufactured in India. The electric scooter has got ICAT approval and is also eligible for the Fame II subsidy program. eBikeGo claims that a lot of research has been done before the creation of this new vehicle. The company says it has been built using and analyzing millions of data points collected by EBGmatics (eBikeGo’s proprietary IoT technology). Which is designed on the basis of all the needs and utility of the customers.
Irfan Khan, founder and CEO of the company, said, “We waited almost three years to build a strong electric vehicle and after that we decided to move forward in this direction. Charging and Expenses:
eBikeGo recently announced that they will be working to set up 3,000 IoT enabled public charging stations across five cities in the country. These charging stations will be able to charge both two wheeler and three wheeler electric vehicles in the respective cities. These charging stations will be connected to the internet for easy access. BikeGo will also provide a smartphone application where users will be able to check the units used while charging their vehicle. Several different modes of payment like UPI, credit or debit card, or cash will be available at these charging stations. According to the company, it will cost around 20-50 paise per kilometer to charge these electric vehicles. It will be about five times cheaper than a petrol-powered vehicle.
