Okinawa, the country’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched a new Okinawa Dual Electric Scooter (Okinawa Dual Electric Scooter) in the domestic market. The Okinawa Dual is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and features and has been specifically designed with the objective of bringing changes in the field of goods transportation and enhancing the efficiency of businesses.
For ease of charging, the company has also given a 48 watt 55Ah detachable battery, which can be charged 80 percent in an hour and a half. It takes about 4 to 5 hours to fully charge and once charged it covers a distance of 130 km. Being a Li-ion battery pack, it charges fast and has become a very reliable two-wheeler for B2B use.
Electric vehicle manufacturer Okinawa has introduced its two-wheeler Dual, which is designed for heavy-duty cylinder transportation and delivery of e-commerce goods. The company said in a release that it is the first two-wheeler of its kind in the country, which is designed to meet the maximum requirements of goods transportation.
The Okinawa Dual Electric Scooter is available in two colors – Fire Red and Sunshine Yellow. The Okinawa dual has a 250 watt electric motor and it catches up to 25 km per hour. Due to the low speed, it does not require registration or driving license to run.
Okinawa said that it uses 92 percent of indigenous components in all its products and aims to increase it to 100 percent by April 2021. Jitendra Sharma, managing director and founder of the company, said, “Due to Kovid-19, the trend of e-commerce and goods has been raised in every corner of the country.”
