Electricity Bill Rules: In Uttar Pradesh, a one-time settlement scheme has also been implemented for farmers whose dues are due before April 1, 2023.
Under this, registration will have to be done by June 30 in which 30 percent principal amount will have to be deposited.
After that, there will be 100 percent interest rebate on depositing the amount in lump sum, 90 percent rebate on deposit in 3 installments and 80 percent interest rebate on deposit in 6 installments.
Those farmers who do not register in the said scheme by June 30 and deposit the previous bill, will not get the benefit of free fixed unit 1300/1045 area wise.
