Who can apply for electricity connection through Jhatpat portal?
The department has designed the Jhatpat portal in such a way that consumers can apply online for new electricity connections. As per the guidelines the people who can apply for electricity connection are—
- A consumer who is a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- The consumer should belong to APL (Above Poverty Line) or BPL (Below Poverty Line) category.
