What is eligibility, which documents are required?
The applicant for UPPCL Jhatpat Connection Scheme 2021 should be a permanent resident of UP. This scheme has been started only for the BPL and APL category families of Uttar Pradesh. For this these documents are required:
- Aadhar Card or Voter ID Card
- Address proof
- BPL category or APL category ration card
- Pan card
- passport size photo
- Valid mobile number is also required.
How to apply for Jhatpat Electricity Connection Scheme 2021?
- Firstly the applicant has to visit the official website of UP Power Corporation Department (https://www.upenergy.in).
- Here by going to the section of Consumer Corner, click on the option of Apply for New Electricity Connection (Jhatpat Connection).
- Here your login and registration page will open. Click on the link for New Registration.
- Details like name, date of birth, mobile number etc. have to be filled in the online registration form.
- After filling all the information you have to click on Registered. Your registration will be completed.
- After verifying your application, electricity connection and meter will be installed at the consumer’s house within 10 days.
