In the cabinet meeting of the Mohan Yadav government, a subsidy of more than 24,000 crores has been approved for electricity to farmers and general consumers. Apart from this, many other big decisions have been taken.
Electricity subsidy of 24,420 crores approved
Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet meeting, Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the state government has taken a big decision in the interest of farmers and general consumers. Electricity subsidy of Rs 24,420 crore was approved in the cabinet meeting. Domestic consumers have been given a subsidy of Rs 6,000 crore. A subsidy of Rs 13,000 crore has been approved for farmers and Rs 5,000 crore for farmers of Scheduled Tribe category.
Big decision for health department too
He said that the government has also taken a big decision to improve the quality of health services. If qualified candidates are not available for the posts to be filled through promotion in the health department, then direct recruitment will be done on those posts. There are a total of 1,214 posts, out of which 50 percent posts will be recruited directly. New posts are being created in the health department in Madhya Pradesh. According to the health standard, creation of 46,491 new posts has been approved. This includes third, fourth class along with paramedical staff. Similarly, there is an effort to improve health services by creating posts of paramedical staff.

He informed that three universities, Avanti Bai University, Tantya Bhil University and Tatya Tope University, have been established in the state. All the three universities have been linked to the Higher Education Department and directed to fulfill their needs. Doctors can also be sent on deputation to the hospital for the victims of the Bhopal gas tragedy. Apart from this, the state government has also taken a big decision regarding cow protection. According to this, ‘Cow Protection Year’ will be celebrated this year. It will start from Gudi Padwa and will be celebrated till next year. During this time, cow shelters will be upgraded. Cows roaming on the road will be taken to the cow shelter.
